How-to remove advertisements from a game? (Windows)

If you are a hardcore gamer and you are terribly annoyed with the advertisement website banner popping in game whenever you start the game by running the game .exe file, your thinking is true. You like to remove the in-game advertisement, but worried that you'll mess up and the entire game goes corrupted? Well, we are going to give to step-by-step details on how to remove the ad.

For your information, a game advertisement that shows in game is nothing more than a mere file of a .png or .jpg image, with a strange name, such as "A_54567.png". If you delete that image, the game won't be able to find the image file to be displayed at beginning and it'll run for the next ad. To get started,

We tested on a free game. The game folder has two sub folders: Data and FS data. 

1. Open the game folder. If you use Windows, it'll be most probably located in Program files/Program files (x86) in your C:\. Begin by navigating to C:\, then open Program files, search for the game developer's name (or the game name), and you'll find a folder. 
2. Now that you've got the folder, open it. In most game folders, there is a sub-folder named "Data" or "fsdata". Open the sub-folders and check whether you find the advertisement image.You can be sure that the image will be in those two folders. When you find the image, delete it if you want to make t the game start without displaying any image. Otherwise, once you find the image, copy it's original fine name (in case you forget it) to a notepad file and copy another file of your preference and paste it in the folder. Now, this IS IMPORTANT: RENAME the image file to the previous advertisement file's name. This is useful if you want to show off your friends that you've hacked the game and such. If you forget to rename, nothing will happen to your image and the game will skip it.

Job done: Deleted the advertisement and replaced with a general image. 

1. You're almost done by now. As a safeguard, it is advisable to re-start your computer. After the restart is complete, launch the game. It should work.
